What is Intuitive Fitness?

I talk a lot on my Instagram page about intuitive exercise, but what exactly does that mean? 👇🏽⁣

Intuitive, by definition, means “using or based on what one feels to be true when without conscious reasoning; instinctive” ⁣

Intuitive exercise is simply tuning into the feedback your body is giving you when it comes to choosing movement. ⁣

You can do this by checking in with your energy levels, how your body feels (sore, tight, etc), or based on your emotional needs (stressed, anxious, etc) ⁣

After years of following strict workout schedules and routines, I adopted this intuitive way of exercising after my miscarriage in 2019. I felt a lot of disconnect from my body, and wanted to learn how to reconnect to my body as a way of healing and move forward. It has since been something I have adopted into my daily routine, and something that has


served me well throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey! ⁣
